3. Products & Services

Retro Computer Dungeon specializes in the sale of restored vintage computers, vintage computer parts, and related services, including a recapping service.

A. Product Condition & Disclaimers:

• Restored Computers: Restored computers are brought back to as close to new condition as possible, including cosmetics. However, due to their vintage nature, some age and wear may still show, but any such specific details will be clearly listed in the individual item's description. The restoration process aims for full functionality and improved reliability for vintage equipment.

• Parts: All parts, including "New Old Stock" (NOS) items, are sold "as-is." Due to the unpredictable nature of vintage electronics, we cannot guarantee the longevity of parts, even if they have never been used.

• Compatibility: It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the compatibility of any purchased parts with their existing systems.

• Handling Vintage Electronics: Customers should handle vintage electronics with care, ensuring proper power supplies are used and taking appropriate static precautions to prevent damage.

B. Recapping Service:

• Customers sending items for our recapping service are solely responsible for securely packaging and insuring their items for transit to Retro Computer Dungeon. We are not liable for any damage incurred during inbound transit.

• Customers should ensure they back up any critical data on devices submitted for service. While we take utmost care, Retro Computer Dungeon does not guarantee data preservation on devices submitted for service.

4. Pricing & Orders

• Pricing: All prices displayed on the website are in Great British Pounds (£) / GBP. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

• Order Acceptance: Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy a product or service. All orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you an automated order confirmation email. A contract between us will only be formed when we send you the order confirmation.

• Pricing Errors: In the event that a product or service is listed at an incorrect price due to an error, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for the product or service listed at the incorrect price. We will notify you of any such cancellation and will issue a full refund for any amounts paid.

• All payments for products and services purchased through our website are processed securely via Stripe. We do not directly collect or store your payment card details.

6. Shipping & Delivery

7. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

• Customer Cancellations: Orders can be cancelled free of charge before they have been dispatched. To cancel an order, please contact us immediately at retrocomputerdungeon@gmail.com.

• No Cancellation After Dispatch: Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. Our standard Returns & Refund Policy will apply upon delivery.

8. Warranty

• All products sold by Retro Computer Dungeon are subject to our Returns & Refund Policy, which includes specific conditions for general returns (14 days) and returns for faulty items (30 days for restored computers/parts).

• All sales are subject to your statutory consumer rights under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which states that goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. This means items sold must meet the quality and description outlined in their listing, considering their vintage nature and any specified restoration details.

9. Intellectual Property

• All content included on this website, such as text, graphics, logos, images, product descriptions, unique restoration guides, and the compilation thereof, is the property of Retro Computer Dungeon and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
